Our thoughts

Did someone hit the wrong button? Are we hacked? Did the algorithm mess up?
No wait, we don’t do algorithms here. We’re safe.

But yeah, we get it. The word “country” might give you flashbacks of cowboy hats, pickup trucks, and beer in red solo cups. But don’t freak out just yet. Because if you zoom in a little, you’ll see that within each genre, there are subgenres. And yes, indie pop has a lovely little cousin called country pop. S,o technically… and emotionally… it fits right in!

And when it’s done like Tristan Hutton does it, we’re not even talking about “fitting in”. We’re talking about standing out.

The thing that hit us right away? The songwriting.

It’s smart, honest, and touching. The kind of writing that doesn’t waste words. Every line feels like it was written at 3 AM, when the world is quiet, and you're sitting with thoughts that actually matter. It’s emotional but never cheesy. Just the right amount of sting to land right in the chest. Ouch, but the good kind of ouch.

Then, the chorus comes in. And that flow? Oh boy. It just slides. Effortlessly. It’s got that kind of rhythm that takes you without yelling, and before you know it, you’re hooked. This song has a message: slow down. Enjoy your family. Be here. Not on your phone. Not at work. Just... here.

Tristan is a proud dad. And when a proud dad meets other proud dads, well, sometimes that creates a beautiful ripple. That’s exactly what inspired this track (you’ll find more about that a bit further down, don’t worry, we’ve got you). But you don't have to lose yourself in that parent role. You're still a man. Or a boyfriend.

The production is super clean but not sterile. It breathes. It lets the emotion come through. And the vocals? He doesn’t hold back! The more the song goes on, the more he gives. And that last chorus? It’s like a full-body hug and a punch to the soul at the same time.

Yes. We’re emotional. Deal with it.

Tristan Hutton's take on "One More Day"

I've spent far too long at the bar with other dads or at the school gate talking to other parents, and the reality is that our children tend to rule our lives. Parents just talk about their kids over and over. Sometimes, we need to be reminded that despite bringing us joy and purpose, children don't have to define who we are, and I reckon that's worth holding on to. But that's a tricky conversation to have with someone, isn't it? So I decided to sing it instead!

A bit more about Tristan Hutton

I'm Tristan Hutton, an independent modern country artist from the south coast of the UK. Music has always been a part of my life, but I think I always lacked the courage to really put myself out there. As I've gone through life, I'm pleased to say those concerns have melted away, and I'm finally allowing music to bring me the joy I wish I had let into my life sooner! I'm a big modern country fan and am loving immersing myself in the UK country scene, from performances at local country music bars to the Country On The Coast festival in April 2025.

I always try to keep my songwriting simple and authentic. I find that if I write about stuff that means something to me, the songs almost write themselves. Nothing is forced. One of the things I guess I’m most proud of as an artist is the fact that I produce and mix all my tracks myself. No pro studio setup, no session musicians, no engineer, and no budget. Just lil’ old me in my attic (my happy place). I love having total creative control over my music.

It also means that when someone listens, adds one of my songs to their playlist, writes an article about me or plays one of my tracks on their radio station, it means so much more, because I haven’t just turned up for a writing or vocal session, I’ve poured hours and even days into every layer of a track. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!

We're supposed to be out here floatin'
Doing things that people like us do
Living every day straight road coastin'
But is it livin' if you're only passin' through
We're supposed to let empty spaces
Fill us up until all that remains
Are the memories of those places
And this residue runnin' though our veins

But I, can't survive, if I trade what once defined me
To become somethin' I can't be

Cos I'm not givin' up on who I am just
Waiting here for that last train home
And I'm not kickin' stones around in the dust
Another year of this time on loan
I'm plenty more than just a school run has been
And I won't let myself loose my way
Through the smile lines and fadin' signs of life
Yeh through the smile lines and fadin' signs of life
I'll be me for one more day

(Ooooh)

We're supposed to keep a pristine routine
Goin' through, the motions every day
But what if we found space in between
Stoppin' our light, just slippin' away
So hold on to what makes you you
I'll do same and we'll light up this small town
And we'll sit here in a year or two
Knowin' that they couldn't keep us down

But I can't survive, if I trade what once defined me
To become somethin' I can't be (I can't be)

Cos I'm not givin' up on who I am just
Waiting here for that last train home
And I'm not kickin' stones around in the dust
Another year of this time on loan
I'm plenty more than just a school run has been
And I won't let myself loose my way
Through the smile lines and fadin' signs of life
Yeh through the smile lines and fadin' signs of life
I'll be me for one more day

Late nights, long drives, tired eyes and we
Still fight for our lives and our sanity

(Oh yeh)

Cos I'm not givin' up on who I am just
Waiting here for that last train home
And I'm not kickin' stones around in the dust
Another year of this time on loan
I'm plenty more than just a school run has been
And I won't let myself loose my way
Through the smile lines and fadin' signs of life (fading signs of life)
Yeh through the smile lines and fadin' signs of life
I'll be me for one more day

Our thoughts

Some artists create an instant connection in just three seconds through their music. That was exactly the case with Timbreroots. We had never heard of this band before, never even seen their name, and yet within three seconds of their new single, Different Light, we were hooked.

Then, as we went through their submission, another instant favorite: the visuals. Yes, their photos are professional. Then another one: the band's personality. These five friends are engaged and outspoken, which you can see in a short Instagram reel where they call out Trump for claiming that global warming is a hoax. These guys come from a remote area already feeling the full force of climate change: South Tyrol. Just on the Austrian side of the mountain range, the economic impact of rising temperatures is already over two billion euros per year. Only 52% of the ski areas remain. In just 45 years, all of Tyrol’s glaciers will be gone. But hey, everything’s fine, right, Donald? Just a hoax.

Timbreroots are from South Tyrol, which means they live in Italy. Their everyday language is German. And the language they sing in is English. Still following? This can only mean one thing: they are culturally open-minded, and you can feel it in their music, which radiates warmth and a sense of togetherness. Yet, Different Light tells the story of a man spiraling downward, losing faith in himself, seeing only dark clouds instead of the white ones that signal the sun is coming. But he finds the strength to stand up and keep going. The song was inspired by the personal story of frontman and singer Benedikt (call him Bene), who, despite describing it as a hard time, mostly remembers it as an "instructive" time. And isn’t that what matters most? We all learn from our mistakes, and in the end, they are what keep us moving forward.

With an incredibly professional production, perfectly crafted vocal harmonies, and a melody that sticks with you for weeks (trust us on this one), this song has everything it takes to become a classic, worthy of standing alongside Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers.

But Timbreroots wouldn’t be the same without Simon, Sebastian, Thomas, and Philipp, each bringing their own essential touch to the band’s balance, giving their music that unique and brotherly sound. Speaking of brotherhood, did I mention that Philipp is Benedikt’s brother? Fraternal, joyful, and filled with genuine human warmth, Different Light almost makes you want to drop everything and move to South Tyrol, to be around people who, despite living in isolation, are far more connected to what truly matters: sharing. And for that alone, they deserve this well-earned spot on IMC.

Timbreroots's take on "Different Light"

"We jammed this new song in a rehearsal during the time I was separated from my girlfriend. After a hard period of self-discovery, we met and found each other again after realising that we couldn't and wouldn't live without each other. This hard but important and instructive time inspired me to write this lyric for the song we jammed then". Bene.

A bit more about Timbreroots

Timbreroots – this is the name of one of the most promising local bands of today. With their multi-part vocal harmonies and the assemblage of a variety of influences, they build a bridge between yesterday and today." The unique Timbreroots sound emerges from a fusion of ambient indie folk, alternative rock, Britpop, and Americana. Epic vocal harmonies of up to five voices, accompanied by guitars, banjo, piano, keyboard sounds, percussion, and the powerful marimba, merge into a one-of-a-kind musical experience. "I have never experienced a singer live who is so musical and has such great vocal control" (Vocal coach at the Mozarteum University).

Another defining element of their sound is the distinctive voice of lead singer Benedikt Sanoll, which spans an impressive range of three octaves and allows him to create various vocal colors and sounds. "He uses his voice like an instrument that can produce different tones." (Student at the Pop Academy Baden-Württemberg).

Listeners familiar with their music may recognize similarities to Coldplay, Mumford & Sons, John Butler, Bon Iver, The Lumineers, Ben Howard, Hollow Coves, Jacob Collier, or even contemporary composers like Eric Whitacre. Indeed, these are some of the band's primary influences. However, the individual members bring a wide range of personal inspirations, from classical music to jazz, which is no surprise considering that all of them have completed formal music studies at university.

Lyrics

I fell down deep, where the daylight dies,
A heavy heart, under darkened skies,
But each inch up, I found my spine,
In the scars I bear, a stronger line.

It’s the climb from dark to dawn,
It’s the beauty of what's gone,
In an empty place, a seed was sown,
In the barest heart, a strong power has grown.

Sometimes you lose what you hold too tight,
and then you find it in a different light,
Through empty hands, I start to see,
What all those losses gave to me.

For in this light, with those I love,
I’ve found my home, that’s more than enough.

Sometimes you lose what you hold too tight,
and then you find it in a different light,
Through empty hands, I start to see,
What all those losses gave to me.

Now I’m by the fire
with my truest friends, the love of my life,
laughing, singing, and the simplest fare,
What more could life give than this, right here?

Sometimes you lose what you hold too tight,
and then you find it in a different light,
Through empty hands, I start to see,
What all those losses gave to me.

Our thoughts

Here’s a song that should appeal to a lot of people, especially indie musicians. Many of them will see themselves in this story. Because yes, a musician’s life is filled with this little thing that seems small but actually takes up a lot of space: frustration. And you know what? Without realizing it, musicians and bloggers have that in common. They both struggle with its overwhelming presence. At first, it’s not easy to live with such a messy roommate. But over time, you learn to understand it and take control.

And today, as the blogger that I am, I can say things are much better. No, I don’t have a million followers, and I don’t care. I have far fewer, but I know they support me. And isn’t that what really matters? For musicians, frustration often comes from the numbers too, whether it’s followers or streams. Social media doesn’t help because it constantly pushes them to compare themselves, throwing musicians who are more successful into their algorithmic feed. Once again, social media is a plague on this world, making talented people feel like they are not enough.

So Give Me a Reason by Matthew Holtby should give you the shot of motivation you’ve been missing. This punchy, short but effective track, which moves between indie rock, folk-pop, and even a bit of country, puts things into perspective with honest lyrics: "Give me a reason / Tell me about everything that you know / Give the thing that you’ve wanted all along / Sing me a song."

If you ever find yourself in Warkworth, Ontario, there’s a good chance you’ll come across Matthew Holtby, who has been writing passionate songs and creating uplifting melodies for two decades. After playing in several bands, he is finally releasing music as a solo artist, and it seems like an excellent decision. Because everything he has released solo since 2021 is worth it. Yes, I’ve listened to it all. From the punchy rock of his debut Everly to the jingling bells in his Christmas song Away This Christmas, and the moving storytelling in my personal favorite Reading This Now, Matthew writes and sings from the heart, and you can hear it. And these are exactly my kind of people.

Even more so when we have things in common. I started in radio back in 2001 to promote independent artists. After years on local and national stations, I took a step back and now run my own podcasts. The call of the microphone is always too strong, and you always end up coming back to it.

For Matthew, the great thing is that he is living his dream to the fullest, expressing himself now more than ever through his music. I recorded 300 songs and released two albums myself, but at some point, I made a U-turn and chose instead to keep promoting others. Give Me a Reason is yet another masterpiece to add to an already impressive discography, and if I had to point out a single flaw in this song, it would be this: it’s way too short.

Matthew Holtby's take on "Give Me A Reason"

I wanted to write something simple about the frustrations I was having at the time in terms of trying to be too fancy in my writing. This one fell out of me while strumming my friends hollow body in a basement bedroom where I was working at the time, as I had no internet at home. It came quickly, and I'm happy I didn't fuss about it. It just clicked.

A bit more about Matthew Holtby

Warkworth, Ontario's Matthew Holtby has been writing original heartfelt music for the past two decades. The former frontman of bands like The Coachlites, Say Ritual, and The Champion Heartache is taking things in a new direction by releasing new music using his own name. A former Announcer in the Broadcasting Industry, Holtby was an On-Air Personality for stations in Oshawa and Peterborough before venturing into music full-time. He now resides in a quiet little town surrounded by rolling hills, in a community of artists and musicians alike.

Our thoughts

Adam Kirkup finally makes his debut on IMC, and it's a real pleasure! I have already had the chance to listen to his work through Luna Keller’s podcast, "Why Doesn’t Everyone Know These Songs", which I host here on Indie Music Center. There is no doubt that he deserves all the attention he can get.

The story of this song began with a simple phrase overheard in a conversation: "A heart of stone can only break". Adam immediately found it incredibly poetic and decided to follow that thread to the end. And he was right to do so. He let the writing guide him, using an intuitive approach inspired by Luna Keller. He had a guitar riff in mind and a chorus line, and instead of building the song traditionally, he allowed himself to be surprised by what emerged. That is how he ended up writing the opening line of the verse: "I want to hear your story. I want to hear it long". This line took him by surprise but pushed him to explore further.

What really won me over was the simplicity of the production. Just an acoustic guitar, a warm voice, and a beautiful reverb to wrap it all together. No gimmicks, no unnecessary layering, just a raw performance, much like the great folk classics of the '60s, as Adam himself describes it.

The lyrics speak of listening, of support, and of wanting to see someone flourish. It is a song addressed to someone Adam knows, a quiet encouragement, an extended hand, let’s say: "I want to see your pictures, I want to see your world. You’ve put yourself out of frame since you were a little girl". There is something profoundly human in this approach, a sincere kindness that runs through every word, and I love that authenticity.

Listening to this little acoustic ballad is like stepping outside of time for a moment with yourself. You quickly get carried away by this voice, by its warmth, and above all by the underlying question: have we ever had a heart of stone? A perfect companion for your Sunday by the fire. Or a nap in the grass. After all, spring is coming in the Northern Hemisphere.

Adam Kirkup's take on "A Heart of Stone Can Only Break"

Last year, I had the joy of co-writing a (different) song with Luna Keller, and I was so struck by the way she wrote intuitively, allowing a certain lyric or idea to come and then seeing if it led anywhere. And that's the approach I took with this one. I knew I had the 'heart of stone' lyric in the chorus, and I knew I had a nice descending guitar idea for the verse, so I just started singing and seeing what emerged... which is a pretty unusual writing technique for me. And what came out was: "I want to hear your story. I want to hear it long".

Which took me a little by surprise. But I pursued that idea until I had a good idea of who the 'you' in the line is and what the rest of the song might be about. Maybe that all sounds a bit abstract and mystical, but I think as a songwriter, the process of writing is often about unearthing ideas and feelings that we haven't been able to find any other expression for. And this one ended up turning into a little love letter or encouragement to somebody I know. I recorded it with James Wyatt at Sloe Flower Studios here in Chester, UK. And I adore the way it's turned out. I really wanted it to sound like a classic folk recording, where you feel like you're hearing a performance of the song. Almost like Bob Dylan's 1960s records.

A bit more about Adam Kirkup

I'm Adam. I grew up in a tiny village on the coast of Northumberland in the UK. I started writing little songs when I was very small. My dad had an old microphone, and I'd plug it into the stereo and record on cassettes. I learned to play guitar on a battered old nylon guitar that always seemed to be missing a string. In my teenage years, I played in all kinds of bands: experimental math rock, punk, jazz, orchestras. I absolutely loved the DIY attitude and the sense of creative chaos. I was lucky to find something as a teenager that made me feel 'at home'. Fast forward quite a few years, in which making music had taken a backseat to raising a family. But I'd never stopped writing songs, and I'd fallen back in love with my earliest experiences of songwriting: one voice, one guitar. In 2023, after more than a decade without any real public performances, I booked a coffee shop on my birthday, invited a bunch of friends, and played a load of songs I'd written. I called it tender indie folk. And since then, I've had some amazing opportunities to play shows around the UK, write with some amazing songwriters (Luna Keller, Ainsley Costello, and Hein Cooper), and release a few songs. 'A Heart of Stone Can Only Break' is my first single of 2025.

Our thoughts

From the very first seconds of Fool for You, I thought, “Oh wow, this is amazing! An indie-pop banger!” Yeah, because if I try to remember the last time I heard such a banger in indie-pop, I think I’d have to go back about two or three years. That tells you how rare high-quality productions in this genre have become. Unfortunately, indie-pop doesn’t attract as many musicians as it used to, and some might think it is fading away.

Well, think again. This UK-based quartet describes itself as a “non-binary fronted indie-pop girl band.” Yeah, it might take up a bit of space on an envelope if you wanted to send them a letter, so they shortened it to Supersaurus. But honestly, who even sends letters anymore?

Fool for You tells the story of a budding relationship, with all its twists, turns, and slightly confusing emotions. Of course, it comes wrapped in a string of flashing heart-shaped lights, making it even more adorable. Love stories are never as simple as they seem and this song captures that feeling perfectly, all while embracing a full-on 90s and 2000s vibe that the band deliberately went for.

What’s funny is that they told us this banger originally had four different instrumentals. They kept reworking it over and over again to get to this stunning final version. You can feel a level of professionalism and maturity in every line.

Because yes, it’s stunning. The melody is catchy as hell from the very first second and the vocal performance is just as impressive. It feels like listening to a band that has been doing this for 30 years. Except 30 years ago, they weren’t even born. It’s a clever mix of 80s synth glitz with plenty of “queer undertones of love,” as they put it. And that mix works like a charm.

When I hear tracks like this, it makes me want to live in a perfect little pastel world like in the Nosedive episode of Black Mirror. Just kidding. That would be unbearable. If you’ve seen the episode on Netflix, you know why.

But with spring returning soon to the northern hemisphere, this song is the perfect road trip companion. Blast it in the car, roll down the window, and let your elbow stick out, right? Please support this band! They deserve it and we wish them a long and bright career filled with bangers like this one.

SUPERSAURUS's take on "Fool For You"

The track originally had about four different instrumentals and it started with the melody, chords, and lyrics, and built from there. It was one of those songs that needed quite a bit of reworking and coming back to before it ended up being what it is today.

A bit more about SUPERSAURUS

Alt-Pop queer quartet SUPERSAURUS is an independent non-binary fronted girl band that has been self-producing sad-pop-bangers since 2022. Inspired by bands like Pale Waves, MUNA, and The Aces, they create relatable pop that speaks to the isolation and chaos of growing up as part of the LGBTQIA+ community in a straight-coded society. After being featured on Spotify’s “Hot New Bands”, “Peach”, and “Milk” editorial playlists, the band has had a number of singles on BBC Radio 1’s Introducing Rock with Alyx Holcombe, BBC Radio 1’s Future Alternative with Nels Hylton, and John Kennedy’s X-Posure Daily, not to mention their single “Safe” also featuring on popular tv series Made In Chelsea. SUPERSAURUS is definitely one to catch live as they bring a unique blend of indie pop, rock, and 80s synth glitz with queer undertones of love. The band opened up The Nest Stage at Truck Festival 2023 and was selected to perform at Mighty Hoopla in 2024 and have since continued to share their music and connect with audiences at both support and headline gigs. Alongside their already upbeat killer songs, you can always guarantee an uplifted, high-energy performance that is sure to be unlike anything else.

Our thoughts

Moving forward in TODAY's life while carrying the weight of YESTERDAY’s failures. That is the heart of this new masterpiece by Dom Malin, a proud member of the IMC Family, cover star of issue #2, and now back with "Tapping Out".

I first heard this song last year when Dom performed it during a private livestream, and I loved it instantly. It carries such depth and honesty that it makes the perfect companion for those melancholic evenings when you find yourself overthinking everything.

We try to move on and leave the past behind. We make real efforts, just as the very first line of the song highlights: "I bury the past like we bury trash." I do the same. But our brain is a stubborn little creature that loves to bring back bad memories whenever the sky starts to darken. Annoying little beast, isn’t it?

The way the song is written makes it feel like, no matter what we do, we are still dragging our burdens. Is it a coincidence that the last lines are exactly the same as the first? It is a writing technique I absolutely love, also used by Luna Keller in her masterpiece "Swallow The Sea" with the line "Oh what a mess to be broken."

As always with Dom Malin, the delivery plays a crucial role. He has this ability to convey emotions that are sometimes hard to bear, and it all comes through in his voice. That unique voice, the kind you could recognize among thousands, is a massive advantage for any artist. There are moments where you can hear it tremble slightly, and instead of re-recording to smooth it out, Dom leaves it as it is. This is the kind of authenticity we look for in an artist, the acceptance that nothing and no one is perfect.

And with Dom Malin, authenticity is probably the first reason you will fall in love with his music. It is also what is opening doors for him. With a growing fanbase in South America asking for live shows and increasing support on TikTok to the point where his first Madrid show is now scheduled, Dom Malin keeps winning over quality supporters and genuine friends. And he deserves every bit of it.

"Tapping Out" joins the endless list of unforgettable masterpieces already released by an artist I now prefer to call well-estimated. Yeah, I am done saying underrated because it is not true. Dom Malin is recognized for what he is truly worth. He does not need worldwide fame or television appearances. Simply singing his stories, his struggles, and his battles is more than enough to make him great.

Dom Malin's take on "Tapping Out"

This song is a personal adventure through the emotional trek of running from the past while carrying the weight of failure. It’s about facing loneliness, regret, and the ache of unfulfilled expectations. For me, this reflects both personal and professional struggles: my failed relationships, and me trying to rebuild a life through music, chasing a dream that sometimes I feel out of reach.

A bit more about Dom Malin

Having acquired his first electric guitar at 12 years old, he cut his teeth busking around Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester in his teens before heading to university to study Music Performance. From being a session guitarist to a solo act, he has released a string of singles since 2020 and has caught the attention of BBC Introducing Lincolnshire, Mahogany, Atwood Magazine, Earmilk, It’s All Indie and more. The previous two years have seen Dom tour across the UK, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, as well as supporting Paris Paloma on her UK tour and most recently Hazlett during his debut headline US tour in the PNW.

Lyrics

I bury the past like we bury trash
I don’t wanna be reminded or to look back
But the embers glow, like the stars in the sky
Reminding me of a better life
I don’t need that, I don’t need that, need that now

I look for the road that will take me home
I don’t wanna see where I’ve been or gone
I just wanna feel solid just like concrete
To steady the ground below my feet
I just need that, I just need that, I need that now

I'm losing connections in my mind
I’m all just a mess, out of sync with time
Connections are lost, the lines are down
What's worth saving ain’t worth saving now
I’m tapping out, I’m tapping out, I’m tapping out

There’s dents in my armour, kinks in my chains
I left for war didn’t come back the same
I asked the Lord to remind me again
Who I was and what was my name
I just need that, I just need that, I need that now

I don’t see myself like I did before
There's nothing left to love no more
I gave everything that I knew I could
But nothing I did was ever good enough
And I know that, I know that, I know that now
And I know that, I know that, I know that now

Cause I'm losing connections in my mind
I’m all just a mess, out of sync with time
Connections are lost, the lines are down
What's worth saving ain’t worth saving now
Cause I’m tapping out, I’m tapping out, I’m tapping out
I’m tapping out...

I bury the past like we bury trash
I don’t wanna be reminded or to look back
But the embers glow, like the stars in the sky
Reminding me of a better life

PIEN - Not Yet

Pien is a Dutch artist now based in Scotland and a friend of Sven Ross. I first fell under her spell back in September, just before launching the magazine, when she released The Cover. I was completely drawn to her simplicity and slightly offbeat personality, which makes her such a wonderful human being.

So when she submitted "Not Yet" in early February, I welcomed it with open arms. What a little masterpiece! Wow, those high notes are absolutely divine. And if you think they're fake, just watch the live version on YouTube and you'll see! But what is this song about? It is actually quite simple: trying to forget an ex and move on. Yes, I know, that theme has been explored countless times in music. But has anyone ever done it PIEN's way? Ah! Got you there.

Because PIEN’s way is far from ordinary. First, you need to know that this song is nearly four years old. It had already been recorded, but the artist wasn’t completely happy with the production. So she took her song under her arm and knocked on another producer’s door. That producer was Colin Lanze, who immediately understood the direction PIEN wanted for the song. This new version is the one she had been waiting so long to release.

There is a little production trick here that I absolutely love. Right after the bridge, the chorus comes back, but the first line is stripped down to just acoustic guitar before the full production kicks back in on the second line. I have no idea what this technique is called because I am not a producer, just a music lover. So I am going to call it the "suspended chorus intro." I love how it adds real dynamics to the song. When the chorus starts, you think it's back in full force, but then it isn't… and then it is!

The songwriting is razor-sharp but incredibly honest: "I’m through the most pain I’ve ever been / But you don’t have a clue what state I’m in". And then there’s this kind of resilience that really gets to me: "They are all asking me when I’m done with grieving over you / But I don’t know if I ever will". In most songs like this, there is usually a door left open. Here, there isn’t. That’s just how it is for now. Time will do its thing, as it often does.

If I had to sum it up, I’d say that PIEN moves me with her honest lyricism, soaring vocals that make me dream, and once again, her ability to craft a melody that is both catchy and unforgettable. I listened to the song once, and I was humming it all day. When that happens, it is always a good sign. If I were still a radio programmer, this would go straight into high rotation because the potential is undeniable. But since I am not, let’s just enjoy it on repeat wherever you listen to music!

PIEN's take on "Not Yet"

I wrote this song a few months before I moved to Scotland (in 2021) and I recorded it over there as an electronic folk song. In the end, I wasn't really happy with the production and decided to bring the song to a different producer (Colin Lanz) and he really understood what I was going for. Because of this collaboration I found my new sound and I couldn't be happier to finally share this with everyone!

A bit more about PIEN

This Dutch indie powerhouse has a sound that's a captivating mix of honest, confrontational lyrics and irresistible melodies. PIEN is set to become your new favorite artist if you love the likes of Maggie Rogers, Kacey Musgraves, or Suki Waterhouse. PIEN's breakout track with SYNERGY OFFICIAL, "I See Sound," earned airtime on BBC Introducing (NE & Yorkshire). Her single "WTF" has already racked up over 21,000 streams on Spotify. Collaborating with top-tier producers like Colin Lanz, Joshua Guy (Phantom Isle), Hattie Murdoch, and Floris Bosma, PIEN is crafting a unique and authentic sound that resonates deeply with listeners. Currently, she just finished her highly anticipated debut EP, set for release in May 2025. She already made her mark on the London music scene, with performances at iconic venues like The Camden Club, 93 Feet East, Two Palms and The Katzpace. The last few Summers PIEN played festivals like Summer Park Sessions (NL), Crouch End Festival, Rock at the Castle, and B-Side & Beer Festival. PIEN’s music is frequently played on Amazing Radio UK & USA (Nashville), Dutch radio stations like Alternative FM, Sound of Haarlem, and Pinguin Radio, and has its place on playlists like ‘Chill Indie Vibes 2024’ & ‘New Female Pop Artists 2024’ on Spotify.

Lyrics

Just some piece in my mind that would be so nice

To give hurt a place and love a new home

To find me some comfort and healing

For all the things I’m feeling

I’m through the most pain I’ve ever been

But you don’t have a clue what state I’m in

You knew I’ve been hurt by the bone

I can’t do it anymore

Not yet

These times are a curse and a blessing

For an old soul like me

I wished someone could show me the way

To that happy ending

I’m through the most pain I’ve ever been

But you don’t have a clue what state I’m in

You knew I’ve been hurt by the bone

I can’t do it anymore

Not yet

They are all asking me when I’m done with grieving over you

But I don’t know if I ever will

What if I just need more time to think it all through

Can I just be ok with not feeling good, for now

I’m through the most pain I’ve ever been

But you don’t have a clue what state I’m in

You knew I’ve been hurt by the bone

I can’t do it anymore

When we think of Pacific K, we immediately recall the long conversations we had about music with Kristaps, the music industry (yeah, that whole charade), and those late-night listening sessions of his music, often past midnight. We have to admit, we miss those a bit.

And of course, it’s impossible to think of Pacific K without the melody of “Bullet”—his duet with Ingaja—instantly popping into our heads. It always comes paired with images from Luna Keller's recent music videos, which were shot in Latvia, Kristaps' stunning homeland. So, discovering a collaboration between these two geniuses might just be one of the best pieces of news all year.

Uncertainty is everywhere. You just have to turn on your TV. Or just don't. You don't want to see those war pictures, trust us. But we can do it from time to time, can't we? After all, we have to live. And this is what this song is about, as Luna told us:

"Being in my early 20's comes with a lot of seeking answers and questions around my purpose, my meaning, and where I'll end up in this life. "In a Summer or Two" is a song that acknowledges that uncertainty and that it's okay to not have it all figured out. We can learn as we go. We actually have to because if we are paralyzed by not knowing, we might end up not living at all".

We already know from experience that Luna Keller's voice pairs beautifully with Thomas LaVine, Stephen LaVine, Clouds & Thorns, Taylor T, Dominic Romano, Dom Malin, Mats Dernand, Brady Jo, Joe Pope... OMG, basically the entire IMC catalog! But we must say, the vocal chemistry with Kristaps is absolutely divine. These interwoven guitars and stunning vocal harmonies create a special atmosphere, a unique color (like the one you can see on the artwork) that makes it the perfect traveling companion.

"In a Summer or Two" is the kind of song that could sway "commercial hits" fans over to the indie side of things. It mixes brilliantly different music genres, from pop-folk to indie-rock with a touch of singer-songwriter, and that irresistible repeating pattern that will make your head shaking all along. That's something Kristaps loves, as he says:

"I love exploring repetitive guitar riffs and melodies, there's something meditative about it that just draws you in and lets your mind wander. I love how this song has turned out. It has a beautiful drive and flow that carries the listener through".

And just like "Bullet", no doubt that this one will become an IMC Classic in a "year or two" if you allow us this one.

Three weeks ago, we officially ended our collaboration with all music submission platforms to work directly with artists. As you know, running a platform like IMC requires a lot of sacrifices, time, and above all, passion. We no longer had the time to write in-depth about the songs we selected because all our time was consumed by listening to thousands of songs.

The song we’re presenting to you today is the last one we approved, marking the end of an eight-year chapter. However, this isn’t the end of our collaboration with Taylor Lang, whom we’re delighted to have met through one of these platforms. Enough about us—here at IMC, the priority is independent artists. So, let’s get to know Taylor.

This artist hails from Calgary, Canada and has been making music for over ten years as part of several bands, which are quite different from the indie-folk sound he’s offering today. He’s been immersed in grunge rock as part of the band Crack the Lens, or as the frontman of Blaeser, a more folk-leaning project closer to his current musical aspirations. We recommend checking out his two fabulous albums, Songs & Others Like Them here (released in 2019) and An Audio Guide to Introspection here (released in 2022).

Yes, at IMC, we can listen to an artist for two hours before even starting to write about them. We’re a bit crazy like that. But when you embrace life without a smartphone or social media, you discover you have way more time than you thought (seriously, you should try it!). That’s why we have the time to write in more detail about these musical gems.

In short, Taylor has flourished in a well-established musical universe (based on everything we’ve joyfully listened to), with one common factor: a love for doing things right. The production is always meticulously crafted (those subtle piano notes at the end of "Diamond Dust" are a great example). And today, for the first time, he’s releasing music under his own name.

"Broke But Never Broken" is currently the only song you’ll find of his on Spotify (for now). But what’s it about? As you know, at IMC, we’re here to tell you stories—moving ones, if possible, but above all, real stories lived by real humans. No room for AI here, as you can imagine. And the story behind this song is truly incredible. We think it’s even better when the artist tells it to you directly:

"When I was young, I lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Then when I was 7, my parents divorced. My mother ended up renting a house even further into the middle of nowhere, and for 4 years, my four siblings and I spent half of each month at each house. Back and forth.

There wasn't a lot of work opportunity out there, so my mom did what she could. She was hired as a bartender in the nearest town, a 45-minute drive away. She would get home at 4 in the morning, driving long, lonely rural roads in the middle of the night, five times a week.

Now that I'm older, I can't help but think about what went through her mind on those drives. Having to leave her young kids alone in the pitch-black prairies. Did she wonder if she made the right choices? Did she think she could have been something more if she'd chosen not to give up so much of herself?"

Yes, for Taylor, these memories of the past have turned into questions in the present—questions for which no one truly has the answers, especially since this superhero mom left this world when Taylor was 16, as he shared with us. Now an adult and building his own family, Taylor reflects on all the sacrifices his mother made to give her family the best.

Yes, this song resonates because it tells the story of a family that could be ours, a neighbor’s, or a friend’s. And it’s a song that touches you and leaves a mark from the very first listen. It certainly struck me, for example, as I’m about to become a father in just a few weeks.

If we want to delve into the technical aspects of this little gem, tinged with folk, Americana, and a touch of dreaminess, we can first notice the long intro. The vocals don’t appear until 37 seconds in. That might seem like a small detail, but it says a lot about the artist’s investment. It proves that he wants to take his time telling his story to human beings, not to impress an algorithm with a catchy chorus arriving in under 30 seconds. And that’s something I greatly appreciate!

Next, even though it’s layered between several instruments, the acoustic guitar never loses its prominence and remains at the forefront. The production is, as always with Taylor’s work over the past decade, highly polished, but there’s a more personal, intimate touch here that allows each element to express itself without overwhelming the other, especially those warm vocals. Big shout-out to Russell Broom by the way, who produced the song wonderfully and added some additional guitar to this masterpiece.

Taylor Lang’s voice feels as if it’s been close to me for years. It’s assured and confident, yet also comforting, reminiscent of a familiar, almost homely world. It’s the kind of unique voice, like Luke Beling or Thomas LaVine (who, by the way, is also releasing a new single today—go check it out!), members of the IMC Family. These warm voices could belong to an uncle singing over your shoulder at a family gathering, beside a fireplace. This intimate atmosphere, when addressing such a delicate topic like the (too?) late recognition of our parents’ sacrifices, leaves us thoughtful and invites us to reflect on our own situation. It makes us question things. We think.

And it’s precisely this authentic connection that indie music manages to establish—something mainstream music simply cannot do. On top of that, you can reach out to Taylor and chat with him. He’s a wonderful human being, always open to sharing. Like every independent artist, he shares his emotions through his songs, but also his personal memories, which makes him an incredible, approachable person who, in the end, is just like all of us. Want proof? Here’s a video on the inspiration behind the song:

You’ll really benefit from following this artist, who exudes authenticity and honesty. The connection we established through just one song was undeniable. Supporting artists like Taylor gives them the chance to share even more stories that make us dream, reflect, and take time for ourselves

A bit more about Taylor Lang

A life spent playing different instruments and a love of language collide in the creative expression of Taylor Lang, inspiring his lush lyrical stories and music in a seldom-seen, genre-bending fusion of folk and fingerstyle techniques. Influenced by artists like Dan Mangan, Halsey, Jon Gomm, and City and Colour, he sharpened his playing and performances over more than a decade in bands: first with award-winning Celtic grunge rockers Crack the Lens, and then as the frontman of Blaeser, a YYCMA-nominated folk-rock trio based in Calgary. Now breaking out as a full solo player, 2024 is bringing something new: a collaboration with expert producer Russell Broom, a JUNO winner best known for his work with Jann Arden, Ian Tyson, Iskwe, Kyle McKearney, and many other chart-topping Canadian artists.

Lyrics

This life is nothing like you thought it would be
Full of empty pockets and so many mouths to feed
You used to dream endlessly when you were young
Now you lie awake to think of all you haven’t done

There are monsters that sit on the passenger side
When you drive home all alone each night
Was this the path that you would have chosen
Knowing you’d be broke, you’d be broke but never broken
Never broken

The crossroad signs fade in the sunset light
One way feels familiar but the other feels right
Have you done enough with your abbreviated plan
Thinking, “Will I be remembered as someone better than I am”

There are monsters that sit on the passenger side
Patient in the static where their words can hide
Was this the path that you should have chosen
Knowing you'd be broke, you'd be broke but never broken
Never broken
Never broken
Never broken

Many of my readers know quite a bit about me because over the years and through my articles, I’ve shared bits and pieces here and there. But most of you know that I live in France. And yet! Over the past 7 years, I’ve only shared two songs sung in French. Is it because I’m more comfortable with the language of Shakespeare than Molière? Yes, possibly. But there’s another more plausible explanation: French artists who make top-quality indie music are few and far between. Here’s the proof. Today marks the third French song on IMC in 7 years.

"Je t'emmènerai" is a beautiful ballad that blends indie rock and indie pop, with warm yet mystical vocals. The atmosphere of this track alone is enough to wrap you up and captivate you within just a few notes.

Starting with the intro, which is very long, by the way. But that’s a good sign. Because in 2024, we live in an era that vinyl, CD, and cassette fans like myself find hard to endure. Algorithms demand artists deliver a punchy chorus within 30 seconds to capture the listener's attention. Machines are deciding what’s good and what’s not, and honestly, I find that scandalous—sorry if I sound like a bitter old man. Does that mean there’s no more room for quality music? For tracks that last more than four minutes? Or even songs longer than two? Sure, social media runs the world now, with 15-second videos. Will we end up with 15-second songs? Thankfully not. Thanks to the genius of many independent artists who are still here to show us that quality doesn’t need a time limit.

And that’s the case with NOVA. This is a French trio made up of Leonardo Villiger, Florent Chatelain, and Florent Valsesia. These three friends make music, first and foremost, to give their listeners a unique experience and take them on a journey. They succeed, and you can feel it in every one of their tracks. When you listen to NOVA’s music, you feel like more than just a listener—you almost feel like part of the band. You get the sense that just by closing your eyes, you can teleport onto a couch in their studio, where they’re right next to you, showering you with their spine-tingling guitar riffs.

It’s truly a magical experience, thanks to the incredible production quality—something I’ve rarely encountered, even after more than 20K submissions to IMC. You’ll hear those details with a good pair of headphones, but certainly not through a smartphone speaker.

The sound is almost three-dimensional, perfectly matching the song’s lyrics: “I’ll take you to see the sea, smell the scents while holding your hand / Lips salty from the air and the sea spray, we’ll laugh about it”. Close your eyes, and with this rich, immersive production, you can almost feel the sea spray caressing your ear. And for an ocean lover like me who moved across the country to live near the waves, that’s priceless!

The song hit home for me in its story, which I found deeply relatable, as I’m going to be a dad to a little girl in December. Sometimes, I wonder how I’ll protect her from the bad news in the world and show her only the best parts. The answer came while listening to this song. Here’s the story behind it, as Leonardo shared with us:

"During the first lockdown, my daughter was only six months old… We were stuck inside, and all I dreamed of was taking her to discover the world, and especially to show her the sea. This song is a father’s promise to his daughter, a promise to show her all the wonders of this world."

Now you understand why I had to share this song with you. Many of us can relate to this little indie-rock gem. And of course, there’s also the fact that our indie-rock category tends to go quiet because little gems like this are becoming rare, much to our regret. But "Je t'emmènerai" has a powerful aura. And language doesn’t matter. I think NOVA could have chosen to sing in Chinese, German, or Portuguese, and the result would have been the same: a shiver down your spine, raising the hairs on your arms.

And if you enjoyed this song, good news—NOVA is releasing a new single on the 15th of every month. There is plenty to satisfy your cravings for escape and daydreaming, as each of their songs is an invitation to travel and let go.

Added to our "Indie Rock Center" and "New IMC Friday" playlists on Spotify.

A bit more about NOVA

NOVA is a French indie rock trio made up of Leonardo Villiger, Florent Chatelain, and Florent Valsesia. Their music, sometimes dark, sometimes bright, is an invitation to a unique emotional experience. Through melancholic melodies and rich textured arrangements, they aim to send chills and transport their listeners to contrasting worlds. Each track is an exploration of human emotions, oscillating between softness and intensity, clarity and mystery. After countless hours spent in the studio, searching for their style, sounds, and musical identity, they’ve created tracks that touch the soul and awaken the senses.

Let’s take a little trip to the beautiful country of the Netherlands! After Roos Meijer, Joëtta, Saint Djuni, and of course IMC Family member Sven Ross, it’s time to discover PIEN. And as we often say at IMC, the world of indie music is both vast and sometimes very small—everyone seems to know each other. As it happens, PIEN is a friend of Sven Ross!

Naturally, she came knocking on our door with her new single "The Cover," which we listened to carefully and fell for on multiple levels.

First off, the song’s title is intriguing. Is it a cover? An original song about a cover? Nope! It’s actually about the "cover" we put on our faces to hide from others. Confused yet? Don’t worry, I’m doing it on purpose! Let’s let PIEN explain it herself:

"As a woman, I always felt I needed to put on a mask to please others, especially men. When I was a teenager, it was easier to play the pretty, dumb blonde than to share my interests and knowledge about art, music, and history. I thought people would like me better if I was charming, funny, and not too serious. Once I started sharing more about what was behind my cover (my mask), I learned that it’s way more attractive to people than playing a role. I just needed to be myself to feel free again and find the right people to walk through life with. So don’t judge a book by its cover, because there’s so much more behind it."

This metaphor of the book is, in fact, found in the chorus: "There is more to this book than just its cover," PIEN sings. And it’s precisely this sharp, precise, and high-level writing that won us over. The second verse, in particular, caught our attention:

"See these friends across the ocean / See their lives shining in the sun / See their smiles bright as always / Has a cloud ever crossed their skies?"

Beyond the struggle of a woman sometimes afraid to show herself, this verse can also be interpreted more broadly to reflect our current society, which lives through screens. After all, there’s not much we can do about it—it’s too late, and screens are now a part of our lives. Proof? How are you reading this article right now? What I mean is that the constant comparison to others is a real struggle. Not just for women, of course, but seeing others constantly succeed can get exhausting for those who feel like nothing is going right. And that’s why I find this verse so strong and powerful—it’s unintentionally tied to our modern society, and for all we know, the artist may not have even noticed this perspective.

If you lack self-confidence, never forget that this world behind the screen isn’t real. What those well-dressed, perfectly coiffed people share in neat little squares or rectangles is just 1% of their life. The other 99%? They’re struggling like the rest of us. And let’s demystify them: they’re not divine creatures—they go to the bathroom just like we do!

"The Cover" stands out for its precise production, full of detail from the very first seconds. How many different sounds can you catch in the first 15 seconds? We dare you to find them all! But what truly shines in the song, from the very first words, is PIEN’s incredible voice. Enhanced by an enchanting reverb, her voice lifts us with surprising lightness, carrying us onto a cloud. You get caught up in it, close your eyes, and float off on a magical journey that lasts just under three minutes. By the time the song ends, you’ll open your eyes and wonder if it was all real.
I’m currently writing what is almost my 1700th piece of content for IMC. So, after having written so much, and if you’re a regular reader, I believe you know my tastes by heart. If there’s a warm voice, and an acoustic guitar blending beautifully with a piano, then Niko’s going to be hooked. Yeah, you’re right.

That’s the winning combo used by artist Matt Bednarsky, and of course, it worked! Based in Pennsylvania, like our IMC Family member Kahone Concept, Matt stacks masterpieces on his Spotify, with some of his tracks surpassing the million streams mark.

Despite that, he remains humble and approachable, continuously delighting his community with songs more wonderful than the last.

"Your Guide" is his latest single, and it makes quite an impact. No, Matt didn’t need flashy production or a thousand instruments to blow us away. Guitar, voice, piano, and voilà—our hearts soar to the sound of his romantic and passionate lyrics.

To describe the song, Matt himself told us:

"It's a sort of meditation on loving yourself in order to pour out to others. And, it's another way of expressing the notion to ‘listen to your heart’".

And he’s absolutely right. Listening to this little folk gem brings a sense of peace and makes you feel accompanied. Even if you’re living in the middle of nowhere in deep solitude, this song will make you forget your isolation. Once again, a word of caution to those who love 15-second videos and don’t have the patience to listen to a song longer than 2 minutes: this one’s not for you. "Your Guide" is a song that takes its time, inviting us on a journey of nearly 5 minutes of pure beauty.

Oh, I hadn’t mentioned the purity of his absolutely incredible vocals? With a slight reverb, Matt’s warm and comforting voice pierces straight to the heart, connecting directly to our emotions. An authentic connection like this deserves to be savored, allowing time to fully appreciate the simplicity and positive aura of this song.

So, shall we hit play again and listen once more? Because, without trying to influence you, we can’t seem to stop!

Matt Bednarsky's take on "Your Guide"

This song was written during a very turbulent season of life, surrounded by illness and tragedy. In a way, writing this song was an exercise in centering myself.

A bit more about Matt Bednarsky

Singer/songwriter, guitarist, polyglot, world traveler, perpetual learner, aspiring peacemaker. There are a lot of ways to describe Matt. As a singer/songwriter, he’s released five full-length studio albums, opened for British legend Joan Armatrading, was named a 2015 Artist of the Year by Concerts In Your Home, played for audiences in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia, been heard on national television, and has garnered over 10 million streams on Spotify and over 3 million views on YouTube. His genre-nebulous style is characterized by poignant, thoughtful lyrics and soothing yet dynamic vocals. Now based in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, by way of Connecticut, New York City, Italy, Peru, Nashville, and Costa Rica, Matt is always awaiting and seeking new ways to inspire and comfort audiences around the world.

Veronica Lewis - Too Late For Tears

When I was younger, I found myself drawn to teen pop, even though I was well past my teenage years. I’ve always loved the genre, not just for its catchy melodies, but for the rich variety of instruments that often accompany the tracks. My ears were always enchanted by the sheer diversity of sounds.

Listening to Veronica Lewis’s “Too Late For Tears” instantly transported me back to that time. It's not teen pop at all, it's rather indie rock. But through my headphones, a kaleidoscope of sounds dances around, and I love the overwhelming sensation of not knowing where to focus, with so many layers to explore.

Let’s start with the warm vocals. This is my first encounter with Veronica, and what strikes me most is her unique and recognizable voice. It’s a huge advantage for an artist to have a distinct vocal quality that stands out in a crowd, much like Adele or Dido. Especially in an era where everything on the radio can sound eerily similar (my girlfriend always makes me laugh when she says, “I like this new Ava Max song” and I reply “This is not Ava Max, this is Dua Lipa”. A week later, we often have the same conversation in reverse and end up laughing because she can’t tell them apart). Veronica, however, has that rare gift of a voice that leaves a lasting impression.

Then there’s the songwriting—remarkably mature for an artist who’s only 20 years old. Her lyrics show a deep understanding and clarity, especially when she explains the meaning behind the song:

“This is a song about that one friend who keeps coming in and out of your life over and over again. It’s exhausting and hurtful, and ultimately you lose your enthusiasm for the relationship. The tumult of emotions finally ends, and you are better for it.”

This is a song that hits home because we’ve all been in that uncomfortable situation. I certainly have. How do you convey to someone that they’re causing more harm than good? For me, it wasn’t a friend. It was my mother. A toxic relationship brings nothing positive, and sometimes you have to make tough, radical decisions, even if it means breaking free from a negative pattern that controls you more than you control it.

You'll most likely come across Drew Schueler in Nashville, TN. An artist who writes a lot and shares his infectious passion for music on his social media, where his community is growing day by day. Recently, he won the grand prize in the NSAI Song Contest, and once you listen to the song "This Is Where", you'll understand why.

From the first line of the song, we knew we were going to love the writing. And we weren't wrong. The song is about this place called "home". A place that is different for everyone. For artist Jeff Mailfert, for example, it would be his van, in which he has spent most of his life. For others, it would be this cabin in the garden, where their masterpieces come to life, like for Thomas LaVine. For others, it's a house on the side of a road, where you end up bringing a baby back one day, as the song says. This is what will happen to me in four months.

If this song is relatable to me, it will be relatable to many people, because many of us have our "home". And that is the power that artists like Drew Schueler have: to touch as many people as possible in one shot. With "This is Where", he seeks out those emotions that we have deep inside us, by talking about simple things, that we never talk about out loud, but which nevertheless, are the foundations of our lives.

With a flawless vocal performance, exceptional production quality, and that little Lewis Capaldi side in his emotion, Drew Schueler offers in "This is Where" a real island of freshness in emotional music, which is a little lacking on radio waves these days, we must admit!

Let's go to Australia to meet Neem, a generous artist with a warm voice, who presents his new single Metaphor. What seduced us from the first seconds was this incredible fingerpicking, very captivating, and which reminded us of the universe of another Australian that we had discovered when he was only 14 years old: Declan Ryan. Are we nostalgic at IMC? Yes, a little, it's true. It's maybe because we get attached very quickly to our artists.

Neem is passionate, and it shows in everything he posts online, and especially in his music. He is an open artist who has already performed with many artists from the Gold Coast / Sunshine Coast, like Amela, Zola Sky, Tom Wensley to name a few but the list is long. And his vision of things fits perfectly with ours:

"My ultimate goal is to improve the music industry by making it a more inclusive and supportive environment. I believe that there is enough space for everybody to thrive. If you're an artist and if you're looking to collaborate, or just want to have a chat, feel free to reach out".

Here, in our offices, we already know that in January 2025, IMC will become a real online meeting place for musicians where all musicians from around the world will be able to chat, collaborate, and create together 24/7. And we know that Neem is exactly the kind of artist we want in this new version of our community.

Neem is a very talented songwriter. Quite funny for a track called "Metaphor", but the song is a real gem of writing, which multiplies the figures of speech to make us adhere to this magical folk-pop universe. With the "windows open", we let in the fresh air of this light melody that contrasts with the lyrics, which teach us to face more restrictive problems. And the easiest way to face them is sometimes to ignore these problems and leave them in front of the front door, as Neem sings in the chorus.

With beautiful vocal harmonies, and an extraordinary production quality, Neem signs here a perfect gem for the summer (although it is winter in his country!), which will help us forget our daily lives. To listen to why not in the car, hair in the wind, and elbow outside ("can you feel the wind?")

Reach out to Neem
