What is Niko's Music Magazine?

Niko's Music Magazine is an independent publication made to promote indie musicians and their work. I have promoted indie artists since 2001 through national FM radio waves, online radio stations, then blogs and I have written thousands of music reviews on Indie Music Center since 2017. I launched the magazine in November 2024, so now I can focus on quality before quantity. Each issue highlights artists and their stories with in-depth interviews, articles, photos, games, and more.

Is it available in print?

Nope, Niko's Music Magazine is only available in digital format on Patreon. This allows me to keep subscription costs low and reach an audience that doesn't have a huge budget to support indie artists.

I looked into potential printing options, but the prices are quite prohibitive. Additionally, shipping costs abroad would require working with printers on every continent, making things complicated. Moreover, printing that much paper goes against my ecological values, as I strive to reduce my carbon footprint as much as possible. The high-quality PDF file should allow you to go to your local printer and print it if you'd like, though.

How often is the magazine released?

The magazine is released monthly, around the fifth of each month.

How can I subscribe to the magazine?

You can subscribe through Patreon for €4.99 per month or $6.

Can I buy single issues instead of subscribing?

Yes, single issues are available from the Patreon shop for €5.99 or $7. However, a monthly subscription provides more value and is cheaper: you get 2 free issues per year + all the podcasts, all previous and future issues, and special issues.

Is there a discount for artists featured in the magazine?

Yes! Artists featured in the magazine receive their own articles for free, making it easier to share their features with fans. And if they want to buy the whole issue, they receive a 50% discount code via email. 

How will I receive my issue each month?

Subscribers receive an email from Patreon with a link to the Patreon publication. Then they can download the magazine in PDF format as soon as each issue is released.

How can I submit my music to be featured in the magazine?

Artists can submit music through the "Submit Music" section on the website. I recommend reading the Submissions FAQ first.
