For 25 years, Indie Music Center has supported independent artists from around the world through radio broadcast, magazine articles, podcasts, and now editorial features and playlist coverage.

Since 2017 and the launch of this format, more than 1900 artists have been featured on Indie Music Center.

Our readership includes professionals from across the independent music ecosystem: our readers are independent artists and bands, publicists and PR agencies, record labels and label managers, playlist curators and music bloggers, radio programmers, festival programmers and booking agents, music journalists and media professionals, people working at Netflix looking for a good song to sync.

Playlist consideration and details feedback

If you would like your track to be considered for our playlists, you can submit it directly.

You'll be asked to fill up a short form. Every submission receives a response.

With third party submission platforms, a large part of the fee goes to platform commissions. This leaves only a small portion that can be reinvested into playlist promotion.

With direct submissions to Indie Music Center, most of the fee can now be reinvested directly into playlist promotion.

Before: About 20% of submission revenue could be used for playlist promotion.

Now: About 80% of submission revenue can be reinvested into playlist promotion. This is how our main playlist gained 2000+ followers in less than 8 months. And still going.

The rest supports website hosting, tools and operating costs.

Editorial Features

Indie Music Center also publishes professional editorial features covering singles, EPs and albums. Editorial features are curated.

We review all submissions carefully. If your project fits our editorial line, you will receive a reply within 48 hours and we will recommend the most appropriate feature option.

Due to the high number of requests we receive, we are unfortunately unable to respond to every submission. If you have not heard back from us after 48 hours, please consider that the project is not a fit for Indie Music Center.

Typical delivery time : 7 to 10 days. Available options: Short / Standard / Extended features for Songs / EP / Albums.

For example, an extended song feature contains: a review written by hand (we hate AI), artist bio, links to streaming platforms and social media, embedded music player, quality picture, SEO optimization, and the exclusive IMC Listening guide (have a look at it here just before the review part). But not only. It also includes a dedicated artist page in the IMC Artists Directory with your story and an archive of past Indie Music Center features.
