Jason Piquette was born in south Florida and has lived there, overheated, for the majority of his life, sans a two-year span in a remote East Asian province during middle
school.
It was around this time that the power of music to put words to the unnameable became evident to Jason. Songs, more often than spoken truth, reminded him of the good to be had long after joy had slipped quietly away. Many melodies and words have since come from his own hands; these have solidified a pattern in his life of solace coming by way of song.
It's his desire that when others listen to his music they feel nudged awake by the hope within.
Jason Piquette is a bold story-teller. He lyrically draws the listener in, processing his world--both external and internal-- through metaphor, insight, and the occasional fabricated narrative.
