They’re a trio from Frankfurt am Main (Germany). And they’ve got a sound of their own.

In less than two and a half minutes, their new single “Roadtrip” (out today) grabs your hand and pulls you straight into a delicate, well-produced indie-folk universe. No wild banjos. No upbeat chaos that makes you want to flip your furniture. Just a quiet little ballad. “Emotional, melancholic and hopeful,” as Sebastian puts it.

Written during a road trip in the US, this song makes you want to take that hand and hit the road. Long straight highways. Gorgeous landscapes. Clear skies. The vocals are warm, the songwriting is relatable, and the production, while light and subtle, is incredibly detailed.

“Roadtrip” is the perfect title. It’s an invitation to escape. And it’s a wonderful treat for the ears.

We’d already heard of Jetlagged as one of the promising bands to watch (yep, music blogs talk to each other), and this track just confirms it.
