When I heard Chelsea Klein's voice, I felt like wrapped in cotton. Exceptional sweetness! I needed a little warmth at the time and I found it in this song. And when the chorus came in, I just thought to myself that this was the song everyone needed right now. It was therefore inevitable to share it with you! We all have emotions, and we have to accept them, and accept that we can have ups and downs, because we are all human after all. This is the message delivered in this ballad that you will play on repeat during all the weekend. Little by little, Chelsea is climbing the steps to success. This is another song that has some writing genius from my good friend Taylor Hill in it. I have been sitting on it for a few years and I couldn't think of a more fitting time to finally release it. This is my first acoustic/more serious song that I have released, and it just feels very honest to me. I think people are incredibly hard on themselves about various aspects of their lives - I definitely know I am on myself - and this song is just one that reminds me we all have flaws and that's okay. We all make mistakes and do things that we aren't always proud of and life continues. I have constantly worked on not feeling the need to be perfect all the time, as long as I am true to myself and my own heart, the negative things will pass - we are all human.
